do you guys/girls get any keys from killing mobs ? Since they stated that they would increase the drop rate of keys also, from +1000kills (solo) even more in parties, i haven't got a single key

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but so far, to me anyways, this "chest" update is very...meh. I made about 25 runs in Nahpui, north of Raisu Palace, Echovald and all I got to show are crappy celestial staves, cockatrice staves, bleached skulls (5), non-max grapes that includes hammers and wands. The only gold I got was so stupid in terms of stats I thought about keeping it to show it around as a circus freak item.

So far it's more a gold pit than anything.
(awaiting the Spirit Squad cheerleaders)

This event is ace, thank you anet. It's a great laugh chest running with mates , it's worth doing just for the stick thrown at each other for deliberately spreading disease to the first person who had already removed theirs.

So far I've had a Oni blade req8 15^50; a golden phoenix blade req 10, 15^50, +30 (salvaged the +30 off it); 2 20/20 dagger tangs and a rather nice platinum wand req 10 divine favor, energy+5(enchanted) smitting recharge 20% (a nice wand for my 55).

And on top of that I am hammering the treasure hunter and wisdom titles.

Bring it on!!

Then you could have saved them and used them for "special" fight.

QFT

Rare has many meanings.

Rare like it is normally is hard to get crappy gold items we can only laugh at occassionally?

So now they become more common but rare before the weekend maybe. Perhaps Anet means that sort of Rarity.

Hmmm Interesting, those Alliance town owners who get keys for 20% less must be laughing at us while making a hefty profit.

Sure, you won't be able to sell it for 100k+ecto, but I could easily see it go for 20k+

For the love of all that is good, don't salvage that!
why not slavage it? if he gets the 20/20 mod it can go for 50-70k+ (more like 50k but imj not sure) and if he gets the fort mod its an ez 50k...
